It is too b ad that we can't see the ivory of your drawing paper, I'll bet it adds a love texture to this beaituful drawing. Great details and shadowing. I can't tell if that is a high collar on her neck? Shirley

Your technical skills are near perfect.( I say that because it's hard to be perfect) With each drawing you get better and better. Your female subjects are all stunningly beautiful and rendered very well. Congratulations on such talent, I'm sure you work very hard for it.

Excellent shading with the true passions expressed on the lady's face. The tonal refining worked very well to the hairs and the facial make-ups.

She remeinds me of a singer and dancer ! Very well done ! Excellent on the shadows , her eyes are amazing ! The whole face speaks, tells about the person you painted so well ! Great composition !

You are producing some good stuff James and the facial expressions are first rate...She could be one of the hollywood stars of the 50s/60s as the face seems to be a composite of these...However I do find the imbalance between the eyes somewhat disconcerting...have I lost some definition on my screen ?...Best wishes...Rob

Well executed portrait James. The subject's nose, always tricky for me, is perfect. Hair could not be rendered any better. Shadows are spot-on. I really think this is one of your better works from your consistently excellent portfolio.
