I love this painting! I can feel the rain and the excitement of the little on, the hunkering down/determination of the Mom. Beautiful sky, lovely stones and barn.

This is a wonderful painting. Great creativity of presentation. Great color harmony. Wonderful story telling ability. I love how the child's hand is raised-is he/she trying to reach for the hurrying adult or celebrating the puddles. Excellent technique and technical ability. Excellent lighting. Excellent depth of field. Excellent point of interest. You have wonderfully captured the theme. Your regard for detail(reflections in puddles)is amazing. You are a very gifted artist.

Well done I just love it. Not only can I see the rain but I can feel it. The adult looks totally fed up while the child dances in the puddles. The clouds are excellent and give a hope of brightness to come.

The small one seems to be splashing around in the puddles and the adult is pushing on through the rain, where as the child dosent seem to have a care in the world, it brings back a lot of memories of walking in the very wet dales.

I really like this picture and it looks like the little one is trying to catch up with the parent and maybe they still have a ways to go if its up the hill but it is probably right there close. It does look like rain and it looks like one of the clouds has a face like the little white cloud that cried HA! Anyway its a great day Lots of fresh air and energy all around.

I like the light and the colors. The red child adds a lot to the strong composition. The only very small minus here is the closed way. I have preferred to see it going further in to the valley and the sunshine. Maybe I am too romantic. always looking for an happy end. Kindly ME-Bild

The reflection on the footpath is well created and successfully represents the wet and rainy conditions. You used grey tones expertly to render, well, an obvious grey and dark day. I can hear the song, "Here Comes the Rain Again" as I view this.
