This is really very beautiful! The soft shades of green and yellow are so soothing to look at. Love the shadowing, and the way you positioned the flower in the frame. I love black backgrounds, they always make the image just pop out at the viewer! Your framing is beautiful. GREAT WORK! Katy

Really nice floral image. The post work gives it the look of an original painting. The lighting is really good, adding nice shadowing.

The coloring, way you did the frame, way you filled the space, the detail, the way you used the dark background, the little bit of red in the flower, the way the leaves look, everything about this is excellent. Hi MoonWillow. Its funny, I just got into trouble on this site for ranting against the genre of flower photography but this digital enhancement of yours is an entirely differnt kettle of fish. Wonderful old world quality about this image. The composition could not be more classical or pleasing to the eye. Those leaves are the froasting on the cake. There, have I used enough corny cliches like kettle of fish and froasting on the cake for you. Not feeling to literate this morning I guess. Excellent image tho - at least my eyes are focused and awake.
