This is absolutely stunning - beutiful black and white contrast in both strong definition and soft. The gnarled wood provides superb flow throughout the image

This is a wonderful composition.Like the silvery effect on the tree trunk and oak leaves suggesting moonlight. Darkened background works well to help image really stand out. Love all the texturing detail in the tree trunk and veins on the leaves. Very well done. Loved it!

Thank you again!! Seems really quiet in here today.

Does seem that way to me too. Good to hear from you. I'm anxiously awaiting my new Paint Shop Pro program and then will start trying to figure it out.. Raining here today, so kind of dreary. At work and studying online for my brokers license to pass the time during slow periods. Have a great day.

Good presentation. Good technique. Good lighting. Good use of black & white. Good depth of field. Good point of interest. Good story telling ability. Good focus. This is a very interesting picture with very creative pictures within it. Looks like a smiley face. Well presented with good technical excellence.

Thank you, Jan! The only smiley face I can find is maybe up in the right corner. Do I get the prize now...LOL! Don't know if that's what you mean. Thanks for the great review.

The smile is in the lower left -sort of reminded me of Grandma Willow from
Pocohontas.(spelling?)

This is one that I also like as I do like B&W work at times.I like the texture and the gnarly look of the wood. There's just enough black areas so as not to have too much negative space.Very different but very cool also!
