I like it when people leave the photos as is even if there is a slight flaw. I through this was a very powerful sky and enjoyed all the various cloud formations and colors.

Yes it is strange but I learned trough my life that there is always a opposite. To each positive is a negative. Like Life and death. Life wouldn't be as if is without it. We wouldn't appreciate life and beauty the same.

Forces of Nature is well taken . The dark sandy beach going into the choppy waters are caught well in the decreased lighting . The hills with trees caught in darkness are breathtaking . Clouds and sky caught well in shades of yellows , blue grays and more . All in all a beautifull photo . Will make many wish they are there walking on the beach .

Thanks so much for viewing and your very kind comments. Yes we were lucky since the Yucatan Peninsula wasn't hit by the storm. Truth the storm and his surge toke a healthy bite out of our beach and destroyed dozens of turtle nests.

Oh - This sky is so very beautiful and it sure fits very well in this contest - All the unusual formations on the clouds - the warm yellow colors and the reflections on the water - all together I think you have a winner here...

Is that where you live Cancun area? I love it down there, we spent 2 weeks in Playa del Carmen and LOVE IT. I'm so glad you were spared the storm, my heart go out to all those effected. You've captured a wonderful sunrise shot here, lovely golden colors, great detail in the landscape. Beautiful to view!

Thanks for your review and the king comments on my photo. I tried to show both the beauty and the danger of nature.
Yes that the Cancun area. We live 10ML south of Playa del Carmen. We are very thankful to be spared this time but I feel for all who wasn't since we know how it feels first hand to be hit by it.

Sometimes it's not the best or brightest work that people notice. This photo has special meaning and you have captured that. Thank you for sharing this memorable moment.

Very beautiful shot. Love the huge cloud that spans across the top of the photograph. Sky color is wonderful. Like how it shines light down on the water below. Darkened peninsula and beach makes a nice contrast for the shot. Well done. Good focus and lighting.

All the positives apply, dramatic sky, the depth of field and clarity are great, framed and cropped properly, great story telling features, and the colors and tones are meshed completely making for a very good landscape/seascape..

Yes, cleo - very meaningful shot for September. Very unusual sky in both color and cloud formations.

Glad you left it as is - the gorgeous colors couldn't be better. Such a rich range from one extreme to the other.

Beautiful morning capture and such a vivid reminder of how exquisite beauty and destructive havoc can be such close neighbors.

And the reflective tide washing in adds such a distinctive and contributing feeling to the mood.

Also outstanding narrative in your artist notes.

Thanks.

I truly enjoyed your notes on this. Nice job with this. Your angle is good for this and the clouds r lovely with the sunset in the shot. Good angle for this and your technique for the shot has worked well.
