Very nice work. Beautifullly rich and colorful. I like the composition and eye-appealing forms. I would prefer some darkened edges to bring the eye more to center. Otherwise, excellent.

This is so colorful, I love the textures in this. The background is so inviting as well as compliments the colors of the leaves and the lovely bird. I like the deep maroon and burnt orange colored flowers it gives a great contrast.

The image very pleasing for the eye Bird on the well stocked branch. Well equated picture the colors are in good harmony especially the seeds the bird ( very difficult to paint birds ) The back ground is pleasing pastels Only criticisms is the leafs could be a bit more life like a bit dark and more dept of field

You are just talented in all mediums. This is beautiful the way you have done it. The depth in the red is stunning. I like the way you have the bird and all the beautiful greens in this. The way you did the background with all the blended colors is excellent. A beautiful work of art.

Never been to the Phillipines or India which probably explains why I have never seen this bird. I really like your rendition of this. The light colors of the background make your star stand out just right. Nice composition and handling of the plants and berries. As usual, a good 'un.

Thank you, Julie, for the wonderful review! This one and the one I posted last week with the yellow bird (Birdwatchers Dream) ARE for my kitchen, as soon as I get my kitchen repainted. I'm glad you said that. At least I know my thinking wasn't too far off :))
