Great job Shawn and so close at hand. It was very hard to watch all those fire dragons as they were busy in so many places. I was watching all the confusion too as people were trying to go every which way as there was fire ALL around. Good Luck sending you many rainbow colors Bingo!

Thank you, Bingo. We definitely could us some rain in Calif. but if we get them now, there will be mud slides everywhere. How do you win in this state...earthquakes, to rain, to draught, to mud slides...shish!!

Thats for sure my friend. Fire yesterday and 2 earth quakes today. You have to be a certain kind of person to live in California. YOU know a little wild, a little moody, a little bossy but a whole lot Cool :) Bingo!

Amazing work. Great compositon and lines. Your color palette is wonderful on this and the flames are great. I hope that you will not have to leave your home and that the real fire will soon be put out completely. What a scary time for you.

Thank you for the excellent on this, Shiloh! They finally got the fire out in our area. I have not watched the news today, so don't know if it is completely out. It did get within 8 blocks of us though.

Thank you for the excellent on this, LGP!! It is out in our area, but it was really wide-spread, so I don't know if they have it completely out. I haven't watched the news today.

Simple and powerful.
It got my attention, it's a scary
situation and you captured it well.
Soft and colorful.
You can almost smell the smoke.
Great work.

Thank you for the great review on this, Jorge! They do have the fire out in our area now, but it is still really smoky. It came to within 8 blocks of us, then the wind shifted.

You are very welcome and I am glad to hear you are alright.

I am amazed at your attention to detail and you did this in such a short period of time. I am sure you must be uncomfortable with this monster so close to you! The smoke looks so realistic and the flames look like they are actually hot. Great job with all the detail.

I love the colors of the smoke and sky in this piece. The composition could use a tree in front or something for a focal point - but still, overall very beautiful.

Hope they get the fires under control soon

Thank you, Pam!! I thought of putting a tree in, but at the time I was a little pressed for time & stable nerves. The fire got within 8 blocks of us and then the wind shifted. We had been watching the news and the glow in the sky all evening, but when I went to let the dog out, and saw the flames cresting the hill top, I knew it was time to start panicing. :))

comeon now - what is the most important thing here, getting a masterpiece shot or your own safety? Sheesh, some peoples kids. :)

This an only too realistic piece of digital art. Yiou deserve a high rating for bravery. I know the smoke and fumes must be very disturbing not to mention the fire itself. You show the firestorm better than the TV news! Hope it does not come any closer to you.

Thank you for the wonderful review and fabulous rating, Lora!! It did get within 8 blocks of us. If you watched the news, it is out in our area now. Again, thank you for your very thoughtful review.

Wonderfully crafted, the effect is very dramatic. Hope you make it through okay. The detail is excellent, and the dead trees in the foreground add so much depth to the scene. The colors are great and true to life.

Have you any hair left on your head?

Talk about giving us a feeling of being there, you really have captured the moment well.
We have brush fires here in Wales and they really do get very hot, and this is so good I feel the heat from here.
Great job

lol...yes, but I think I got a few white ones in there all of a sudden. The fire got about 8 blocks from us, then moved on up the valley. Thank you so much for the excellent review, Jack!!
