I've always wanted to visit New Zealand. This painting strengthens my desires to visit. Wonderful use of dark blues. I can sense and see the action and movement in the waves. I can feel the sprays of water coming up. Nice work.

Beautiful painting! You managed very well to highlight a coming storm by the color of the sky, the waves and a very good brushstroke technique.

That is a lovely oil painting of Arai Point in New Zealand. I have always admired pictures of the scenery in New Zealand, but have never been there. In your picture the Pacific does not look very peaceful and calm. It looks like stormy weather, and a very rocky shore. The initial impact is strong, and the center of interest holds my attention. I think you have excellent technique.

You captured the power of the sea wonderfully in this piece. I can't comment technically as I have no experience with this. All I can say is that this painting grabbed hold of me and I could live with it on my wall.

The clouds are so dark and brooding. They create the atmosphere here. You've used so many different shades of blue and even purple for such a complete effect. I get a feeling of a storm here. Great detail, this must have taken some time to complete and to get the full impact here. I'm just amazed how you can portray the "feeling" into your art. Really awesome.

Great job suzanne with this evening look at the oceanside and sea. I like the perspective you painted of the waves coming at me as if I'm standing on the rocks. Really like the different hues of blue you used and the faint hints of pink in the sky. Even think I see the moon rising on the right? Very cool painting! Good luck. Annie

This is so beautiful painting. It is rather dark which set a mood of the painting. It is like a sea before storm. The painting is filled with drama, by color and movement. So expressive!

Beautiful bay that you surely painted so well like it. Colors, on sky and the sea water, waves and rocks (I think) are wonderfully worked showing some light on the splash and clouds. Good painting work!
