Kudos to you for being out in that storm - or incoming storm. That would scare the bejesus out of me! But this photo is magnificent! You certainly captured the power of the ocean with that wave up in the air! And the colors of the sky and water are so unbelievable! Who says you have to have a blue, sunny sky for great pictures? This is great!

Thank you so much for your great review. Out in the storm? This one was a relatively harmless thunderstorm, not more than 35 or 40mph of wind and the rain came later. I hit home after these pictures but got wet.

Wow, this is gorgeous, you have captured it so good. I love the natural lighting and colors you have captured a lot. Use of shooter speed is excellent for the great presentation of the water. I wish I had a six stars rating left, this one deserves it.

Thank you so much. Don't worry about six stars. That you like my photo this much means more to me than any star.

Lovely photo, the dancing waves seem to be running away from the dark threatening storm clound in the distance. A great contract between the light blue/green sea and the dark blue/grey clouds.

I love this, Cleo! So glad it was nice for the whole week while I was there. A storm seemed to be coming when I left...
I like the vivid colors and the eye catching contrast at the horizon line and the texture of the beach. The best part, though, is the wave cresting.
You'd have to take a few well planned shots to get this one.
Hugs for an absolutely beautiful stormy scene.

What a phenomonal storm shot you captured cleo. The sky and the water come across as so very angry how-
ever in that anger can be found so much beauty.I love the clouds, how they start out gray, building into the stormy blue and then back to a clearance. The break of the water at the shore has a very
dramatic feel and I can see in the distance another wave building. This is a great capture and surely fits the
category of the contest.
The very best of luck to you in the contest. You did a great job!!

Thank you so much. I was very surprised when I saw Ducillas photo. If that isn't coincidence, what is. No he didn't stand beside me but some 4000 km away north.
