wow this is bursting with color! Really stands out straight away! Nice detail you've captured in the centre of flower. Looks gorgeous. Its a lovely photo. I always struggle taking photos of things that are red or bright pink so bravo to you!

Thank you so much.
Red and shads of red are the most difficult, especially in sunlight. Best time early morning and late afternoon when the light isn't that bright anymore and comes side ways.

This is great, reminds me of the old movie Strange voyage, where the doctors are injected into the body. You get that feeling of being inside this rose from this photo, very good indeed, Diane

Thank you Diane, I appreciate your creative review very much. I remember the movie truth I wasn't thinking of it when I took the picture. But you got it right the effect of being inside the Rose is intentional.

You're most welcome. Diane

Hey lady, your encroaching into my territory - but then we all need good competition to keep us sharp and thus far I have never posted a rose.
The image screams red rose with those great colors (and I like the touch of green to provide the yang) and you have captured well the heart of the rose with nice sharpness and detail. Lets see some more macros.

Sorry for trespassing your territory. I'm affraid I will do it again. Thank you a lot. I have posted macros before but that is m first rose. Roses wont grow in our area. I had to go to Texas for it.
-
So far you are not trespassing, thus far I have never posted a rose.
Keep it up, looking forward to some trespassing.
Charles

Thanks Charles. Sins it is an invitation it isn't trespassing anymore I think.
-
Nope - but then my flower images just don't seem to be working for me anyway. I posted an Iris early today, but it was a full flower - not my style. Been posting otherthings - oh well, I guess all of us have dry spells.
-
Sorry I didn't have a look at your pictures lately but I will soon.
-
Posted a fair number but not many flowers and no macros as of lage.
-
Saw a beautiful Iris from you today.

Thank you so much. Something good had to come out with these Texas trips.
-
How is your husband doing? I hope well.
-
Thanks for asking. Phil is doing well now but he suffered a bad dehydration last week. Scary. That's why I'm so backward with my reviews.
We have to go back to Texas in the beginning of June but I hope not for long.
-
I hope it will be a short visit too and that Phil will be strong and healthy by then :)
-
Thank you. I hope so very much.

This is wonderfull closeup of this flower, and i really like its composition here, petals looks a bit soft without details, adding a bit contrast might show the details as in veins. Would give more stronger impact. overall nice photograph with good lighting and clarity, all the best.

Thank you a lot. I don't know I have a different photo of the same rose were the petals aren't this soft but I posted this one with the focus only on the seamen's. More contrast on the petals is taking the magical light at the center away.
