This is so beautiful it reminds me of a painting, I love the emotion in the face and the deep sadness and longing gives this a story. Love the color tones which compliment the story of romance wonderfully. Perfect composition perfect work. A wonderful view thanks for sharing and creating. The reflection of her face makes this dreamy and intriguing as if she is remembering the life she once had. Great work.

Part of the picture is indeed old fashion painting. I Used part of an canvas painting as background and 80% transparent overlay.

It is beautiful cleao, I love the suttleness you have give thge portrait. What a story, can you imagine how scared she was to be forced into a marriage with an old man, Whether or not it was an honor she was still a very young girl. absolutely beautiful

Thank you for your understanding review. Yes she was scared and had a very hard life. But now her live has turned. Her husband died a few years later but she never remarried. The old Lady seams happy now cared by her children and grandchildren.

this is fantastic. the contemplative look is created not only through the expression on the girl's face, but also by the colours used (colours that look wiped out, which gives the impression of old age or dwelling on the past), and the technique used for putting the colours onto the canvas (the same washed out effect I mention above). this is a beautiful piece of work
