This is excellent. I love the background that doesn't overwhelm the focal point. The butterfly is perfect. So delicate yet powerful. The single flower is a stroke of genius too. Great entry for this contest. I wish you all the best. Really good work here.

Thank you a lot!
I'm happy you like the single flower. I started out with more flowers but decided to eliminate them since I found my butterfly to much crowded and overpowered.

I don't know how you can do a digital picture on canvas but it is beautiful indeed. The colors are superior. The light seems like it's flowing in the green background. Very creative. I don't see anything wrong with this. I think it's perfect.

Thank you for your kind review.
You do an digital picture on canvas like you do it on real canvas with real paint. The program Provided several canvas and paper types. You chose what you wan't for your picture. Than you chose the colors and wetness your tools and the size of the them. I used the knife, different brushes, the glitter tube and a pencil. It is pretty much as if doing the 'real thing'. you just use your fingers on your touchpad to moove the tools.

Wow, thanks for that explanation. How you painted it now makes it more valuable. You're a true artist.

Nice piece of art and Its great when you can paint and be good at photography as well. Seems like the capture of the butterfly inspired you to do this nice one.
Thanks for sharing and I enjoyed it.

Thank you for your generous review. O indeed used some photos as reference to paint this picture. I have a file on butterflies. I always loved them. Our house is called Casa Mariposa, House of Butterflies.

Such a simple object, and a soothing picture. I love your choice of colors. Great detail on the butterfly. Still not over fussy and distracting. Perhaps a little more detail in the flower, but really this is just beautiful.

Thank you so much for your complimentary review and the fantastic rating. I'll think about the detail in the flower but I don't want to be to photo realistic.

I know now what your work made me think of when I first saw it...stained glass.

I didn't go for the effect nor did I realized it. But you are right it is in there. Especially the Butterfly.
