When I become rich and famous, which hopefully is not too far off in the future, I have to buy this picture! Lilacs have a special place in my heart. A large lilac tree stood outside my bedroom window and in the Spring I remember falling asleep to the sweet sent of lilacs. Beautiful work of art and took me back to a pleasant time in my childhood. Very, very nice work!

You captured the blooms very well. I think your composition is beautiful. I love the browning on the tip of the leaf. I had so many of these fragrant bushes under my bedroom window at one time.

In the light of the full moon. Its beautiful. It's one of these magic full moon nights were silver seams to touch everything on the mist looks as if having an inner glow. The limitation to the blue green colors with the addition of sparse brown emphasizes the magical feeling of a magical full moon summer night.

This is so beautiful Moon Willow - my favorite color combination. The lilacs are superb in their derail, and you have a lovely composition as well.

Ahhh lilacs, they are a flower I grew up with in up state NY, but don't grow where I now live. Beautiful composition here. Very soft and satisfying.

Shawn,these lilacs are so realistic that I can "smell" them in my mind! I don't know of anyone that doesn't like this smell.The colors are perfectly chosen and the lay of the land is simple yet it leads the eyes to the beautiful cloud covered moon.The placement of the flowers gives them an almost three dimensional look.
Every piece of art you do just proves you are where you belong in the rankings.
Gorgeous piece,I love it.

Ah, the sweet scent of lilacs. One of my favorite scents in the entire world! I love the way you have put the moon into this shot and kept the lilacs dark as it is early morning. Lovely composition. I can almost smell them.
