I don't know if you started from a photo, but you've obtained something awesome; the special light brings into view a delicate glass jewel, with strange metalic reflexions - enchanting!

Background black is perfect choice. Texture is good on center of flower and stem. Soft color and good lighting. Overall beautiful image.

Beautiful painting, I love the way this tiny flower stands out in the clear dark background, colors are wonderfully presented that way. Composition is excellent, great flower stepping into the painting from the corner. Beautiful details too.

How about a moon by starlight? Anyway, a fine, simple DA image beautifully composed and lit and as you say, restful. Reaches out for you. A great piece of work.

This is a very subdued work following your last two posts.I can say though that the minute I saw it two words popped into my mind,"Power-
ful Simplicity" and that's exactly what it is.Powerful in the sense that it is one flower that is not only colored beautifully but the lighting is superb and it just shines on the canvas.Simplicity needs no explanation.
Beautiful,relaxing piece Shawn.I enjoyed this one.
