Sure hope that you did put some oil on this fellow before you let him lay in the sun like this. Nice capture here of the so called, Dog Days.

Thank you so much. Don't worry he wasn't there very long. Two minutes later he was back in the ocean.

ok..initial impact was fright! I love the dog had passed on simply because of the position and the torso looked bloated. Glad that's not the case but that he having so much fun. Excellent capture, great focus and lighting. I would love this kind of play time. The beach is beautiful as ios the water and the sky. NIcely done. Thanks for sharing

Thank you so much. What looks bloated to you is his chest. It's the body position on his back I think. I never thought that it could look that way.

Thank you Deej, Truth it's a dog's life. I got him from a deep angle laying on my belly.
Comment from Farmboy
Technically, it's just sort of OK but the pose is priceless. I've seen dogs get excited about playing on the beach and they jump and run around but this guy is in dog heaven. Plus I think he doesn't know he's a dog... lol. Really priceless pet photo.

this guy is just plain cute. great initial impact as the dog lying on its back scratching it just is eye catching. good center of interest lucky as you want to scratch his tummy. good crisp clear photo. great story telling ability just by looking at him. good lighting. i just love how he is enjoying himself as he is the only dog on the beach oh there isn't any other animals on the beach even people.

Thank you so much for your review and the compliments on Lucky.
That is a three mile beach near our home only insiders know of, completely unknown to tourists.
