That is a fine digital still life. The composition isgood; the detail in the glasses and the apples is realistic. the colors are appropriate and harmonious. The picture is pleasant to loo at and holda one's attention.

I like your title. Great shimmering effects on the glasses. Good color contrast between the glasses and the apples. Interesting composition. Like the darker background and foreground. Reflections in the foreground are a nice touch also. Well done.

I really like this. How cool. I don't think I have seen anything like this style before. I love how you have the knife stabbing through the apple. Im wondering though with the wine glasses if I wouldn't have added cheese crackers and grapes to make it a bit more.
Artistry is definiately there. I love the shadows and the background. The light on the glasses is magic!

Well, that was a nice mid-morning snack! I read your review, AB, got hungry, went to the kitchen and got some cheese crackers and grapes...lol!! No kidding. I was very good :) I thank you so much for the wonderful review. I was thinking of putting some cheese chunks (sliced or squares) in, and I may still. Again, thank you, and too bad I didn't have some wine to go with my snack. :)) Kind of early in the day here though.

Wow! This is captivating. I loe the golds. Very wonderful! Nearly perfect. The knife looks a bit strange as the handle and blade could be straightened a bit I think. The apple on the right is exceptional. I think the apple next to it on the left could be fixed up a bit as the cut in it doesn't look quite realistic enough. Those cups though are magnificent and teh gold colouring is marvelous with marvelous detail--showing the cracks. Reminds me of the Last Supper for some reason or a medieval reception with the gold. Wonderful!

you have a great piece here, the crackle effect on the glasses, have the look of metal goblets, not delicate wine glasses.i would have made the knife handle sharper, where it is located, it should be in sharp focus. creative piece, with a few minor detail, would be awesome. photoid61

Metal is what I was striving for, so I guess I got that part right :) As far as the knife goes, I actually sofened it a little so it would fit into the painting better and not look like I just pasted it there. I thank you so much for taking the time to review this for me, PhotoID! I really appreciate it :) Shawn

Very good storytelling and initial impact. I like the haziness of the overall image, it seems moody and dream-like. The colours are well complimented and contrasted and gives the image a nice depth.
