This is a very nice photo... the focus is amazing, considering the bird is in flight :) it is too bad we are not able to post pictures here in full resolution, as i feel the compression on the photo has taken away from it. i would have liked to see the original in its full quality, as you can see from this version that it would be quite amazing :) thank you for sharing.

knowing how very difficult this is, is enough for the 5 stars all by itself, but your persistence paid off, and resulted in a beautiful capture, in the detail of the feathers, the wings at full extension, and lovely light. super job!

I really like this. Nice detail. Image is sharp. The only thing I might have done differently would be the crop. I might be tempted to lose more of the sky to the left - an I have tried to indicate how I would crop it so the bird is centre of frame. Nice work.

This shot is like freezing time. This bird seems suspended in the air, with every feathery detail there to study. This must have been a rather long lens. But it's still a great photo.
