Thank you very much for your encouraging review. The shot was taken outside in natural light.

What an excellent capture!!! lol. Great detail. Great out of focus background which enables the main feature of interest to stand out. Cool photograph.

A most beautiful animal. I have one just like him that I feed every day. Although with mine, the relationship is defiinitely on his terms. The focus on this image is clear and details good. The action is good with the tongue. The eyes are great, making the intitial impact strong. The background makes a good contrast. The notes hel us to understand more about the image. Very nice.

Great detail. The cat is doing his best Gene Simmons imitation. All joking aside, I love the shot. The story is there, artist technique is there, and the impact is wonderful. Fun to review and look at.

Initial Impact: Pet portrait.
Story Telling: Good potential based solely on capture.
Artist notes: Descriptive with capture information shared to help the reviewer understand how the image was taken.
Composition: Good POV to place subject at focal point.
Framing: Good
Lighting: The lighting is even across the subject with nice touches of contrast that add interest. You may want to darken or clone out the hot background (chair run) as shown. (no deduction)
Color: Natural
Focus: Sharp
DOF: Works well to enhance subject
Bokeh: Pleasing with harmonious colors.
Textures: whiskers
Comments: Overall a nice capture.
Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest.
