It is really amazing that they can eat a fish that big without any problem. Very good capture. Your patience paid off. Focus is very good. Framing is well done.

Thank you so very much! When you have things like this going on you forget time. It was around 20 deg. and that was not a problem either.

understand, you can look at histograms on photoshop and that should give you a good idea of tonal range. Check into histograms, you can change them also.

What a great shot! Extremely well focused. It would do well in the rule of thirds but it is so great I can't help but love it. I think you could get this published in Best Nature Photography. You would have to re-crop to thirds but I really think they would take it.
