Wow! This is eye-popping! Lush colors, moody, with the unexpected highlight off-centered foreground. I think this is one of the most appealing pieces of art I've seen on this site. Gorgeous.

You are welcome. I went to see Monet's exposition in Paris last December. Hope you will have a chance to see the nympheas at the Orangerie, if you have not. http://www.musee-orangerie.fr/homes/home_id24799_u1l2.htm . I went in Giverny last May too. This piece has amazing depth, and a sense of delicacy, that looks like wisps of smoke. I think I see three partial faces. Dreams are like smoke..hard to see through, hard to hold, and not always what you see at forst glance..great interpertation! Donkeyoatey

You can almost sense the swirling of water lapping up against the green landscape. Curving lines convey a softer, more graceful feeling. The blues are cool and very inviting.
