Spring must be in the air in the Northern hemisphere and this is an interesting variation on the snowdrop. Imaginative composition shooting from the top rather than from below or at the side. Good depth of field and colour saturation

Lovely photo of a lovely flower. I really like how the lighting in this image shows off the delicateness of this flower. Excellent use of selective focus and depth of field. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice photo and different from what we usually see. Excellent detail, the colors are the most attractive, well saturated, excellent composition, well done.

I sure like this pose and presentation! A different angle, but very nice with the dark background. It is a simple subject matter, but it sure is nice to look at.

Snowdrops are such delicate flowers. I have some in my garden too. Love the white balance you have here. The blurred background really shows off this little beauty well. I think this would be LOVELY on a condolence or Easter card.

Very Nicely Done! :o)

This is an eye catcher. Beautiffully captured with detail in the white petals.

Your image is so good with the dark background. The exposure, and control of light is really good.

Annie it is so well done .. bravo!

i have got to say if there was a comp for the most detailed ,comphensive and informative artist notes i think you would win it hands down my friend , i dont take these type of shoots my self ,so i was just wandering why the fast shutter speed , its not a trick question its just that i use this sort of speed to capture fast movement ? i have also been using 400D myself and its a great camrea in its self , but still took me a little while to get the hang of it all as i used to use 35mm a develope stuff myself the old fasioned way, which i still do every now and again , have brought a cannon 50D at the end of last year and have to start all over again ,lol, anyway your work is always a pleasure to view and read ,all the best lee

In this case it was meant to have the opposite effect. I did not use a tripod for this shot, and I could feel that I moved the camera. To compensate for that I used a fast shutter speed. I usually use it the same way as you do. Thank you for the lovely review.
