Wonterful clarity and impact. The blues really stand out out against the background. Composition , framing really make you notice the bird, super sharp focus and DOF, you can just about count the feathers. Thank you for sharing, and good luck in the contest. Riki

Composition and eye appeal are strong in this photo. Colors , balance and contrast equally well managed.
In this photo, I believe that if you had increased the Depth of Field to bring the foliage in the background into the photo it would have increased the overall impact of the setting.
