Willie this is a great shot. Feels like he is coming out of my computer to say hello. Great focus so sharp, detail so crisp and clear. Those eyes so piercing, colors blend so well soft yet vivid, love how the face is set centrally and the neck and shell slightly out of focus makes a fab backdrop. Thanks for sharing

Pompous looking character. You have him well framed in the square picture area. I would have liked to have seen more depth of field. You could have used the edge finder in your editing software to outline the face and then invert the image and blurred the background to eliminate some of the distracting influence of the background. All in all quite outstanding shot.

I like this shot regardless of how you took it. You have VERY sharp focus on the turtles face. LOOK at those nostrils! THe lighting is GREAT too. LOve the shot anyway you look at it. Sorry I don't have a six. :o)

Thank you so very much! The car works like a blind! By shooting from the car he will stay still. I have learned this from trial and error. He is looking up at me, and with a tight crop it appears to be at ground level.
