Not only do I like the colors..they shout "spring", but the composition is fresh and different, it is very visually appealing, and draws the eye. I like the realistic look of the brown tios at the center dusted with lovely yellow pollen. Youare certainly multi-talented. Donkeyoatey

Thank you so much for making my day. I am very happy you like the painting. It takes some of the frustration I got from a confusing two star review I didn't understand the meaning of it. The critic was about of to much realism or maybe to much detail in the picture.
    Thanks again :-)

You made a great picture with this lovely yellow flower between green and blue background and with your intervention to make yellow bubbles and brown stamens, you made a great composition. Thanks for sharing this lovely picture with us.
Best regards and many more works like this,

Love the colors in this .
The vibrant yellow against the blues and emerald green . Beautiful .
I love the grouping and the way you have set the single flower head to the right .
REally nice . Good luck . Very springtime

Very springlike image with harmonious and pleasing colors. Good entry for the contest. Sounds like a lot of work but well worth the effort

Thank you very much for your encouraging review. The work is pretty much the same a traditional painting, brush stroke by brush stroke; just that it is done digitally. It needs about the same time as traditional painting.

What a lovely painting with very well done detail workThe blue sky and the green behind the flower, showcases the daisy
beautifully.
The smaller little flowers in the background balances out the painting quite nicely.
Good luck to you in the contest.

Thank you very much for your kind and encouraging review and the wishes. A positive review from an established and exellent artist as yourself count double to me. You made my day and saved me from total confusion caused by a two star review criticizing to much detail in my painting.

WHAT??How awful that was.You should report themj to Tom.Those are just hateful people who try to make others feel the same. This is a beautiful work.I'm going to check to see who it was.And thank you cleo for such a nice compliment about me and my work.I appreciated that :)

Thank you, I checked on that guy. He isn't important. He hasn't a single post. I had so much support from real artists afterward that I was fast over the first shock. I don't want bother Tom anymore than really necessary. I just had a run in with that guy from KKK. Tom finally evicted him from the side but it wasn't pretty for Tom at all. Thank you so much for your reaction. It means a lot to me :-)

The blending of colors is wonderful, the detail is noted. I just feel that the subject is over-done. I keep looking for the flower without the petals.

Thank you very much for your kind review and your input. I am not completely sure what you mean. I have never seen a flower without petals other than in a abstract. This her is an more realistic painting after nature of an existing Wildflower as written in my comments. Sorry to disappoint you with my style. May you could post something of your own work for me to look at to give me a lead on what you mean.

Thank you very much for your encouraging review. The technique is pretty much like hand painting; just without the mess of splatted paint. The paint is allied and the tools are moved using a mouse pad.

Very nice work. I love how well the yellow, green and blue all work with one another. Simple details on the flower give it great character. Thanks for sharing!
