In many ways, i think a shot like this tells more of a story than a shot of wine being poured into a glass the way you had initially planned. So for that reason, im giving you five stars.

Interesting outcome. Looks rather more like blood than wine! Do like the reflections in the glass. Nicely done

VERY COOL, THE COLOR OF THE BACKGROUND LOOKS GREAT. I HAVE TO ADMIT THAT I THINK SOME OF THE DROPLETS AND BIT RUNNING DOWN THE STEM LOOKS LIKE BLOOD, LIKE THIS SHOULD BE ON THE COVER OF A MURDER MYSTERY NOVEL.

Well this is different. It has a lot going on.
The very first thing I noticed, was that the background is a solid color, nothing there and that really helps make the photograph.
The reflection of your window and door is amazing. I would have loved to be a fly on the wall and watch you pour the wine, tip the glass and take the shot, very interesting set up.
Have the wine glass tipped also adds character to the entire composition.
Great photograph.
Thanks for sharing.

Its very experimental but also quite fascinating. This os one of those "its all wrong but it works" photos. The wine drops on the glass are fascinating, the wine apparently filling the glass against the principles of gravity, the 4 reflections in the glass, and the stain on the stem leave you guessing. Sometimes its not about the technicals.

I actually find the reflection the most interesting here. It makes a nice contrast to thew red color of the wine. The picture gets a somehow surreal touch; especially with the recurring reflection in the steam and the carvings on the glass.

Well by golly, if you aren't happy with it, I'll be happy enough for both of us. It looks fantastic to me. I really am taken by the reflections. Doing all you did at once is really something.
I love the colors and the background is perfect.

I really like the composition and the angle of the wine glass. I find the reflections of the windows a bit distracting (-.5), especially when looking at a larger version of the image. It is less distracting in the smaller version. The movement of the wine is hard to see (-.5) because of the slow ISO speed. I'd like to see more detail in the wine flow to capture the movement, which would require a faster shutter speed. I really like the spots of wine sticking to the sides and it adds character. Good initial impact and a fun subject to try and capture.
5 - Initial impact
-.5 - Distractions
-.5 - blurry wine motion
---
4.0 - Final rating.

Actually, I like it. It might be a little splashy as in the wine drops. However as for the actual photo technique and quality, I think it's a very, very good try; that's why you get a 5. Reflection...? I personally love reflections and for being on a glass, it's very clear. Color, contrast and DOF are good.
