This is a beautiful shot, the clarity and color are amazing ideally i would like to see the bird a little stronger in the frame, my only complaint though, well done

They are a challenge and fun to watch with patience. My only suggestion on this shot, your crop is too tight on the right and bottom, otherwise, a very good stop action.

WHAT A SHOT... This is one of those I wish I had taken that. Shots.
The bird is perfectly in focus.
He has room to move into the shot and fly to the left.
You have even managed to get the depth of field looking good with the water under the bird sharp and that in the distance being blurred.
As above what a shot.

Wow love this shot, Blue herons are one of my favorites and you captured him perfectly. I saw four of these guys get into a fight once, the noise they make is otherworldly, it didn't help that I was fishing at dusk on indian land. Scared the life out of me lol
