Nice use of the flood filter, and the dark background really makes the yellow stand out. I do think the focus on the flower is a wee bit soft though. Donkeyoatey

That black background really makes this flower stand out on its own. I like the added yellow line you have used for framing as it gives this image a creative edge. Nice.

It is just gorgeous:) It looks so real, I thought it was a photo at first. Great impact. The use of the dark background creates almost a 3 dimensional quality to the flower. The ripples and reflections in the water are excellent. No further work needed.

You making a lovely mixed media picture with this very nice yellow flower and with name that remind me on old Greece and famous Narcissus which love so much his face and always looking himself in the water to admire his looks that is later is standing as symbol of loving himself. That is similar with this flower and her loving her reflection on clear water. You do the right thing when you put this extraordinary flower surrounding with black background.Best regards and best wishes,
Mirolli

A real great metaphor. To portrait the Greek Narcissus looking at his image as the flower the legend morphed him onto is an outstanding idea. The colors are working perfectly on the black background. The reflection is perfectly crafted what again goes nicely along with the Narcissus story. Exceptionally need how the flower bends down as if looking at it reflection. It is a perfect entry for the contest. Best luck.

This is awesome the way you have done it. I like the way the flood filter looks on this. The reflection in the water is beautiful. I like the way you put the yellow border on this too. An excellent picture. Good luck in the contest.
