i must be honest i am not normally a fan of this kind of still life but i cannot ignore this on i love the confident brush strokes and the sublime subtle coloures that you have used i also like the composition of the flowers very nicely done kind regards stephen

Beautiful, Suzanne!! Soft and delicate. You're the first person I've come across who uses salt for texture on backgrounds. I've mentioned to several artists to try it, and I think they all thought I was crazy...LOL. But I love the wonderful effects you can get with it, and yours came out gorgeous. I've mentioned to several artists to try it, and I think they all thought I was crazy...LOL. But I love the wonderful effects you can get with it, and yours came out gorgeous. I love this ,it is so soft and warm feeling! The colors are lovely and I like the effect the salt has.The rose buds are done so softly,it makes this piece so nice! This really is beautiful and you should be proud of your self! Well painted!
