this has a simplicity I cannot help but love..amazing facts also, but then people always seem to think that Concentration camps are German or Russian. No, the english came up with them first in South Africa, for women and children, same with a lot of things.
The simplicity of this design makes it startling..and the clever use of opposite colours, brown leather clothes against a blue sky, white horse against the brown grass. When teaching young people and beginners, I often limit their colours to five to help them to localise colour and only after experience permit additional sub colours. Great piece of work - love your stuff.

that was the life of a early sharpie artist. really it was until the last 10 years that they have offered a multitude of colors. up till then the only colors were (black, red, green, blue) and i used a yellow high lighter for that color. so you have to be creative with just basics that you have infront of you as you well know. thanks for your time and good review.

Very nice drawing. Too bad human rights hadn't come about back then. The treatment of Indians is the darkest mark in American history. Great colors. Love your style. Well done.

There is a saying in India that one should not probe into the beginnings of Sages or a river. Because you may be terribly disappointed:)I never do that however' holy' people may call a 'guru'. You have a very distinctive style and fine draftsmanship. This is another fine example. Cheers!

I like a lot. I'm working on a piece about the Cherokee and their expulsion from Georgia in the drive for land to settle and gold. The marched to Oklahoma and 80% died along the way. It is called the trail of tears. Great Image and I love the way that you consistently raise images which educate us. thanks for sharing
