MK I don't know wether they a re cold . To me they look scared, and lonely. Colors are good, love the shading , (you are so good at that) The cement blocks are good, and the heating vent. Thanks.

when you cold and hungry and not knowing where your meal is coming from ...yes you would be scared. Have stangers come to you with words of scorn or insult and be suspicious of the ones who try to be nice yes you would be scared. as a child your always in fear like a wild animal watching for predators...it does give comfort when have someone with you in this misery but also gives one additional stuff to worry about if its like...your sisters...im glad that you have enjoyed some of this and thank you for the reveiw.

very good story telling wich is true in the old days we wouldnt hgave what we wanted a sacrafice it is good too, this picture is very interesting, and with details to reflect and think of those people who are in need and have nothing to eat, and they are suffering, technical excellence, and u did a very good fine art, well done table.

mk flood,this is a very heart rendering painting,it has made me cry.You are very clever if you can evoke emotion in your viewer.My sister ,who died october 2010,38 years old worked in a soup kitchen for the homeless in London in her spare time.She was moved by the plight of street children,after a break of 10 yrs from painting-I picked up my brush again after she died.My motivation is to earn enough money from my painting to donate to street children in other countries.

Your image and your words are so powerful. You have brought a tear to my eye and a sick feeling to my stomach. It is unspeakable that in rich countries such as Canada and the United States that innocent children are hungry and homeless. The children that I have contact with have so much, and they want more. I'm speechless and my husband can't believe it! LOL He didn't think this was possible. thanks for the reminder and the wonderful image.

thank you so much and i guess we both have one thing in common. im not a painter either...this was done in permanent ink markers(i have several hundred and been using them for 40yrs) i am so happy that you have enjoyed this and do appreciate you taking the time in giving me this great review.
