Wow! What a joy to see this little fellow! He is gorgeous! Love the little yellow patch near his eye. So tender, so frail and venerable, but so pretty and sweet! The grass on the top right hand side is rather distracting. Can touch it up using Photoshop since background is black. Good beautiful job!

This is a wonderful close up shot of the bird. I like the little splash of yellow on his head. Really great focus showing off the beautiful details in the bird. Very good idea using your flash to help darken the background. This is really nicely presented and quite enjoyable. Great job Willie, and thanks for sharing this beautiful bird.

Great balance and composition. Like that the b/g is black, really sets off the bird. Impact - strong, your technique - good (learned from it).

I rarely have seen such fine detail in a Nature photograph! The whole photo is incredible. The eye's beak and colors are difficult to describe in words. Let's just say It Blew me away!
