This is very well done! Good composition with good use of colors, a female facial expression is amazing, I like your background solution - two hooded men with torches. Good luck in the contest! So far I have no idea for this contest!

I plead ignorance. What's a necromancer?
Like the picture anyway..Is she going to be their next victim, or does that necklace signify she is one of them.
Well, she is wearing black like they are.
Like the composition, the symmetry, the burgundy backround/purple glow of the lights, that they are hooded and eyes hidden..
looks ominious, that they are going to do something scary.
Like the texture, as is you were painting on a board with a wide grain.

well, here I see True Blood, are those waves looking lines all over your own touch or they have a meaning in the series? Very Interesting, I do not care much for words to guide the message on the traditional art but it looks ok here, kind of gives the old magazine look to it, thank you for sharing, Don Fofo

Well composed picture with good use of color and space. The only detraction is the rumpled look caused by the overlap over the colors, of felt pen, I believe? Kind of hard to avoid and the place it is most distracting is on the woman's face. Given the medium, a nice piece indeed.
Thank you for sharing.

the lines come with it so i guess ill have to be gigged everytime, thats the only thing you can avoid witha permanent marker..some times it can work to your advantage and somethimes fo people who dont understand the medium i get the other. I am happy that you have at least enjoyed this and do appreciate you taking the time for giving me this review.

This has a very "poster like" quality to it and even though I am not familiar with the show per say I am familiar enough with the concept of it to believe that you have produced a inviting grab to those who would consider watching it! I applaud you on your creative effort to produce your own letters instead of copying them from a stencil however I think that it may be to your advantage to try to get your sizing and spacing more consistent. One thing I do when I am doing lettering in any of my own artwork is to draw what I want on a separate piece of paper, then when I am satisfied with how it will look I transfer it with carbon paper. It can be purchased at any craft store for a reasonable price. I love this stuff because by using this technique I can avoid all the eraser marks on my "good" piece of work. After it is transferred you can easily cover the carbon marks with any medium whether it be acrylic, oil, water colour, pastel or in your case marker.
I do think that you have great impact visually here with the young lady walking out in front towards you the viewer, the look in her eyes captures the viewer's attention. You show a unique talent for your medium, although I don't think I have reviewed any of your other work I have seen quite a bit of it here on far and it stands out because of your interesting choice of markers as your exclusive medium. You show good technique for keeping consistent colouring as well as the ability to shade and add depth to a piece. Over all I enjoyed this artwork and especially love the detail you packed into her hair! No small feat there! Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest! Crystal
