It's incredible and worth a six to be able to place all those dots in the exact locations to create this beautiful landscape is a feat in itself. I minored in art history in college and even before I ready your artist's notes I thought to myself how much this piece looked like pointillism! Very well done, just like the masters. I love how you painted the sky..

    Watercoloursmleboeuf,
Yes, pointillism takes along time, hour upon hours, but to me the end results is very appealing. I like that impressionistic feel, where tonal quality and light and shadow and the viewer create the cohesiveness of the artwork presented. Thank you for having stopped, looked and then left me your thoughts on my work. All you efforts in doing so are very much appreciated by me.

You're very welcome! I love this style of art and I know how very labor intensive it is which makes this piece even more impressive! Excellent technique

Good title and very good storytelling . The focus with the tree line and the small mountain peak works well. the composition is nice and the visual impact is very good

well lucien being a drawing artist myself i can appreciate the work you have put into this well composed work of art
as for me i try to get more detail in my drawings with fineliner pens & doing all that grass would drive me nuts.
i think you have porrayed this scene very cleverly with enough detail to make it very pleasing to the eye using good natural colouring & shading, real good job my friend, regards adrian

Very intricate and unique painting- this must have taken a while to do! I like it the way it is, but I really like it when it is cropped about half way up. It seems like perhaps there is too much grass and the effect is diffused. Just my humble opinion- it's a lovely piece.

What an arduous undertaking, but the results are phenomenal!
Just dots of colored ink on paper.
Wow, I am impressed.
This is amazing.
It must have taken forever to finish this piece.
But I do love it.
And I thank you for sharing.

Yes your pointillism does work quite well. Your hard work paid off on this piece.
It looks like a pastel with its soft color. I like the clouds and blue sky for a little pop. The white birch trees are wonderfuly done. The deep green in the evergreens accent the piece.
Very nice!
