Pretty. Almost looks like a painting. I think it is very appropriate for this time of year because it looks like a Christmas Tree. I like how the red pops with the green background.

I don't know what kind of filters you added here but it makes a very nice image. LOve the cardinal on the pine amongst the green needles. Looks like this guy is VERY interested in the photographer. LOve that pose!

the composition is amazing
the lighting is great and provides for rich colour and good sharp detail throughout.
the only reason i have deducted for this image is that this photo has gone through "major" software and filter adjustments to make it look the way it does and to only list as "minor" mixed media is a little misleading.

He sure looks like he is posing! What a beautiful shot it looks like a painting. I love the close up and the light. I like the effect of the background which echoes the shapes of the pine needles in the foreground.
