A lovely image you have presented here, for me it looks as if the mother has just picked her child from the daffodil. Like the white background and foreground that really highlight the glass vase. A very unique and pleasing piece.

Wonderful idea. Love the mom holding the baby up to the flowers.
It's sweet, and also a little poignant, in that it reminds me of time and change. That's just me, of course.
Like how the flowers are the darkest part of the picture, that you've used a light textured backround, that the mothers dress is light, and the baby and her skin/hair are darker.
All this light creates the feeling that your title says.
Like the vase you've chosen.
good clarity/exposure/composition.

This is beautiful and very creative. Yes it tells the story nicely! The colors are beautiful, as is the whole composition. All elements perfectly situated within the frame. The white vignette is a perfect choice for this.

With the added mother and child statue it becomes an emotive shot expressing love between a mother and her child. Each of us who see this shot can make up our own story and claim it as our own.
