Wonderful old spinning wheel.
It looks like it's in such good shape...must have been well cared for.
Like the light in this photo, the shadow on the wall, the texture of the wallk, the shape of it, the basket of yarn underneath, the rich colors, the fill of the frame.
Good clarity, composition and exposure.

Very good work to get this one to look like what you wanted. I really like the tones that you have created and the spotlight effect on the spinning wheel. Good idea to have some wool or cotton under it. Does it still work?

Thank you very much for the lovely review. The spinning wheel is still working. I have actually tried it, but with a poor result I am afraid. It is a lot more difficult to spin wool than you think.

Annie... another spectacular capture. Your use of natural light here is always superb. The soft shadows adds to the shot. The background adds a soft mellow yellow color. Fabulous capture and edit.

This old wheel must evoke bitter/sweet memories of a past friendship. I agree that being so old it does qualify as an unusual object.
