Very nice job here. Love the way the ship is rocking in the water... nice water as well. Very creatively done. You do well with twisted brush. I have it but never used it. LOL

I like the clipper ships too..find them romantic and evocative of other times and places and lives.
Like how you've painted it here, in full sail leaning (or is the word keeing?) to the side against that bright golden sky with the sun setting.
Like how the sky is framed with an amber color, how the sky colors are reflected in the water in middle to back of frame, how the foreground water is deep blue, how we see the white water around the ship, and the patterns of the ripples.
Good placement of the ship in the frame, good definition of the ship with nice detail.
Enjoy looking at this.

If it weren't for the idea that my husband builds these models I'dnever know where to begin. I would have loved to seen some of your drawings. I think one of the most fantastic pieces are these ships, Thank you s omuch and I'm glad i brough back somememeories for you...now get that sketch pad out I'd love to see one of your peices lOl

Its complments like this that keep me going. with my last few pieces I was beginning to think I lost my edge so to speak, but it's this type of reviews that make me realize my work isn't as bad as I thinkit is.
