Beautiful, a bit strange, very attractive and intriguing. A bit like an old silver brooch. I don't know if the flowers are prettier in color, but I like that black and white version. Best luck for the contest.

This is awesome the way you have done this one. I like the way the flowers seem to float on the background. I like the way you see all the water drops on them. I like the way you have placed them in the picture. I like the way the light shines on this. An excellent and beautiful picture. Good luck in the contest.

Pretty and a very creative image. I like the colors and the drops of water is a nice touch to it. Over all very nicely done. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful! Love the look you've given this. Great work on the background change. It looks like a piece of art, simple in composition, but very compelling, and I think the water drops make an interesting touch. Super job and worth the extra half star.

A stunning image! Shows great clarity, and the additional work has paid off - I think the b/w has given this a classic elegance. Excellent!

Annie your work is impressive. I do like the way the flowers stand alone in the frame. The clarity of the image is wonderful. I find that the water drops enhance the over all look of the photo. The gray of the background allows the viewer to fully enjoy the detail and beauty of the flower. I think the background makes the flower pop. Creative thinking, and you have done a great job in the editing room. Very enjoyable Annie. I do wish you the best of luck with the contest.

A magnificent example of black and white photography with a full range of tones just like the hey days of photography done with film and chemistry. Truly a masterpiece.

This looks good but not as good as some of your other mixed media work. That is why I have rated it slightly less. I think they light grey background makes a pretty silver lining but it reminds me of the sky in a black and white photo so to me the flowers look like they are floating in the sky. I think it would look better if you added the flood filter and put water ripples around them so they appear to be floating in water instead. You do such great work with that flood filter.

Thank you very much for the lovely review. I agree that a flood filter would have been nice, but the contest rules clearly stated that we should leave our photos as untouched as possible.
