I so wish I could give you more than 5 stars for this one but I don't have any left. Not only is this an amazing drawing with great details but your notes are very touching and heartfelt. Thank you so much for reminding us what has been sacrificed for our freedom. You have definitely humbled me this evening. Great job.

This is a wonderful tribute to these soldiers/marines; depends on who you ask. With out a doubt my favorite of the ones that you have. I would proudly hang this in my house. Great work.

This certainly is a different image of the well known image of the flag planting at Iwo Jima. Thank you for the write up. I didn't know those details. Well done. Thanks for sharing. Sam

I said it once and I'll say it a million times. How do you manage to create these very detailed faces with their accompanying expressions? Such incredible detail and I can't imagine the patience involved. The flag is sharp and bright against the background. A wonderful tribute to your dad and all of our service men and women (including my dd - Korean War Vet). Bravo.

you do such great work, your shading is so increadible. I really would like to know how you do it. I would also like to know how you come up with your subjects. how do you know what your going to draw and do you have a little help or is it strictly from the top of your head?

a good title for this poignant piece of artwork my friend with interesting though saddening notes and you have done an excellent job on the rendering of this especially when one looks at the detail in each of the different faces on view here-i like the one with the rifle over his shoulders expression best of all as if he,s sdure someone is going to take a potshot at them any second-you got my vote no worries-well done sir!

This is very different. At first I have to be honest, it looked cartoonish. The more I look at it, the more I like it.
Certainly the composition is excellent and the theme is timely with Memorial day.
you have done a nice job with this.
