This is a very haunting piece. I love the blue moon look with that slight glow coming from the ground. The wolf is perfect for this piece. I enjoy how your colors of Payne grey and that slate black are built on each other. I feel this piece is bold, eerie, and compositionally sound. Great job!

magnificent! the graininess of the mist accenting the silhouette of the wolf? lighting is excellent. i like the composition moon & its reflection crossing the strip of mist. moon on the stones. amazing well done. :)

A very dark themed composition. Very nicely put together. Particularly like the reflection of the moon on the water giving it a realistic feel and of course the wolf in the background. The texture of this artwork is mesmerising. thanks for sharing

Nice soft moonlight and good composition with the dog as added interest. I am personally not a fan of the silhouette, and you have tried to give form to the leaves being highlighted. Good luck in the contest.

Good early morning, Blackell. Thank you ever so much for the wonderful comments. I also thank you for not docking me for personal opinion--as many people do, instead of looking at the artwork itself. To me B&W adds more drama, but you're right, B&W in a photo would be much different than silhouettes. Again, thank you, I truly appreciate the comments. :)

Like this a lot -picture has instant impact ,like the way the moon is reflected in the water and the wolf slinking across the horizon - could be a poster for a natural wildlife film or a horror movie- great stuff!
