how happy I am to give it to
this work.This is pure innoc-
ence and beauty combined.It
speaks of these two qualities.
I can actually get lost in
her eyes.Her petals are so
soft and you can sense a small
bit of movement in them and
their color is just amazing.
The one drop of water...is it
just that or is it a tear?

Human beauty and glory has been likened to a flower in the world's greatest literature; primarily because they, like us are subject to the bitter-sweet circle of life: grand entry as young seedlings, amazing growth, a brief period of stunning blooms, then a sad period of fading beauty and death. I see this symbolized so masterfully in your framing of a human face with petals of a flower just coming into it's prime. But oh those sad eyes seem to say she knows her time in the limelight is ever so short. This message is conveyed so powerfully with expert use of color and composition that works almost perfectly. And The only thing I could possibly fault is the dew drop. Normally I love this extra touch on a flower because it's first thing in the morning right after dew falls that flowers are bursting for their chance to show off their stuff. But here, it seems to be trying to distract me when all I want to do is stare into those fascinating eyes. But that may just be a personal hang up of my own so in no way am I going to hold back my rating because of it. If this work does not make it to All Time Best Status I will be shocked. Congratulations.

Extraordinary idea and realization - it really looks if she would stand just in front of us - big innocent eyes - red lips and red flower - the entire creation is perfect - the greens are crossing the frame to show that she is living on these greens through a wonderful rose - well done

How you are able to get that softness to the face is beyond me. And those eyes just draw the viewer in. Now this is the type of painting that I wish had the talent for, but then we all can't be this great LOL

This is a shy, retiring creature, easily startled into veiling her face with scarlet petals if she doesn't fully trust the beholder. I love the deep dark eyes, which surely hold secrets, and the little dew drop, perhaps representing a wish.

I have to say WOW!. This one really drew my eye straight to it and placed itself as president over the habit of checking messages before I do anything else. Very nice work. Love the vivid bold use of color. Concept of composition is strong. I did not give out a 6 star rating only because when a piece of art draws ones attention in such a way it should NEVER lack detail. Might I suggest using the zoom tool, the eye dropper and adjust opacity to grab the dark's from the rose to clean up the outer line of the face and add depth with shading. And maybe clone the little petal up by her right brow in a layer tab carrying it across the top of her cute face to the other brow...
These are merely suggestions and by no means detract from the well deserved high rating. Thank you for sharing.

I love the soft effect. Excellent color selection and center of interest. Great story telling ability. The eyes are speaks up. Good technique and impact/ really rewarded presentation. Excellent.
