It's a horse, of course! Stylish, but realistic as well. A silhouette with cut out of colors. The coloring is in interesting and intriguing in its limitation. The perspective giving by the lines which also indicates a shadow or reflection on water is intriguing and adds dept to the picture.

A very effective yet simple piece of work. I like the shadow of the horse and the shadows on the horse but I do wish the head was turned towards us and we could see its eye.

I love this! so simple and yet so elegant and appealing. Love the lines...the curving ones of the horse contrasting with the linear ones on the ground and in the crosshatching. Great piece!

This is so different from the norm of work that you do but
it's a great start Shawn.I do
like the color of the canvas
and I like the way the body
of the horse is done.From
a distance it looks like
crosshatching.I have to admit,
you really reminded me that
you can do anything when you put your mind to it.
Thanks Shawn~

Thank you so very very much for the excellent on this, Angel. I truly appreciate it. A couple other comments made me think I'd better work on him some more when I get time. Gotta get back to work, but I'll be in a little later. Again, thank you!! :)shawn

You are very welcome Shawn. As a matter of fact,I have started to practice drawing as I would like to bring something new to the table next year! :)

Oh, wow. More power to you, Angel!! Sometimes I wonder about some of the works here though. Some are so perfect, you wonder if maybe they traced them. Which I used to do a lot when doing traditional. LOL. I never could draw anything but trees. In school that's what all my doodles were. Didn't you say that you used to sit and draw buildings/cities or something like that you told me a long time ago. Even my pony here is not drawn--I actually painted him and then used the filter on him--which made him look better. LOL. I'm gonna go ahead and put him on RB in a couple horse groups and see what happens, who knows maybe he'll get a feature or two. NOT!! :) shawn

This is a very simple but very effective image and I like it a lot. I could see this on a large white canvas on any wall. Good job.

Ummm! Interesting, but not upto your usual class! I like the smooth lines and the anatomy. Bang on!. But overall it does not impress. Please don't think I am criticizing you.
