Holy crackers! I'm so glad you included those buildings at the bottom because it shows us the magnitude of those fireworks covering the sky.
NIce balance, you left black sky up top and black silhouettes of buildings down below and that just holds the splendor of the fireworks in place.
What were they celebrating yesterday?

Fireworks always make me say Oh and Ah. These are no different especially since there is quite a show in this photograph. In fact the whole sky is alight with strands of light, forming three big balls across the photograph. The inclusion of buildings in the lower half of the frame works very well since there are twinkles of light from those buildings. They also give some scale to the shot which shows just how massive this display is. I wonder what it was for.

thanks a lot susan; there is a firework festival in Cannes during July and August where diferent countries participate; this was Italy: not too bad; last week Greece: very poor, no money

Really cool image, the fireworks could be very hard if you do not have the right equipment (triode) This image is very good I like the use of the frame to present our subject.
