This is a lovely French landscape showing the old village church, making one wonder about the events that have happened here. I like the brightly coloured poppies in the foreground which add good contrasting colours. Lighting and focus very good. Very nice composition.

Good rule of thirds. What a shame that a building like this is abandoned like this. Only around for the dead, not the living. Good focus, detail and clarity. Love the beautiful red flowers at bottom of frame. Thanks for sharing.

Abandoned chapels like you show here are turned into living accommodation in the UK. I always wanted to buy one and renovate it but most come with tiny gardens. As a gardener this would not do! What makes this shot is the scenery of course. The chapel seems to be nestled in amongst trees which are are tall as some of the rock formations. And of course you have captured wonderful bright red poppies in the foreground.

This is a beautiful shot Fred, nicely composed to show the flowers in the foreground and the ledge in the background, framing the chapel in green.

Fred,
A beautiful image of France profound with the little stone church & its graveyard, framed by trees & the cliff behind and the bright Flanders field Poppies growing in the long grass in the foreground. Artistic composition beautiful, lighting superb camera techniques with razor sharp focus. No wonder you call France, la belle France.

Nice composition and presentation. I like the way the the line of red flowers is replicated by the line of rocks above the church.
Good lighting and brightness.
