This is a splendid work - these eyes are just exceptional, so luminous and beautiful in nuances of green and blue that thy take totally over the first impact of this image - the nose looks like it might begin to move and breath at any moment - the detail work on this cat, is spectacular - you are approving your own personal style with splendor and perfection, great job, amazing portrait

Lovely pussy cat and a sad story. Lets just say that Doyle went walkabout and found another really good home and he is fine.
You certainly know how to bring a pussy cat to life on the page Suzanne ! Those amazing eyes with such intense color, those cute whiskers , and sweet little pink nose. Such a pretty cat, so well rendered. Great work.

A most beautiful full frame rendering of this wonderful kitty face. Doyle is really precious, and I am sorry he went away. We just do the best we can, don't we? Love your details, and the light in the eyes is superb. Really fine work!

Suzanne, this is a wonderful chalk rendition of this beautiful cat. You have done a great job of capturing his tremendous detail and colors. The eyes are done with perfection and his whiskers frame his face nicely.

Doyle was indeed a beautiful cat with emerald eyes.
I kept reading your notes and they were all in past tense and I was hoping against all hopes he was still alive. I too rescue cats, I have three now that were all "throw aways." I had five, but two disappeared and I have never figured out what happened to them.
Beautiful painting, life like and excellent lines and colors.

Thank you so much for your very nice review. We never found Doyle and where my daughter lived in NZ was all farmland so we hoped he was able to survive in the wild. Suzanne
