This looks like a spaceship in an Aladdin fantasy flick remake displaying fragile-looking glass domes with tapered pointed tips.
The smoky, icy effect is impressive as it renders a dreamy overtone to this composition.
The bluish reflections brings a chilly aura to this glass castles.

Beautiful, beautiful shot. Love the blues behind the castle. The lighting is perfect. The soft "clouds" beneath the castle give it the illusion of floating. Thanks for sharing the story behind it. Appreciate it.

Love the story that goes with it especially since my grandfather was born in Oslo, Norway. Very pretty creation. It almost sounds like the story that goes with one of the Buddhist temples I visited in Thailand...the single pathway because we must choose our own path...

This is a very pretty photograph. My initial thought was "Disney"! :) Beautiful blue color throughout the photo. I love the smoke effect. Great clarity, lighting, and composition. Interesting Artist Notes as well. Thank you for sharing.
