Stunning! To get both of them eating at the same time, how lucky are you. Nice composition of the two of them, there is a bit of a what looks like reflection of the trough just below the yak's eye which draws the eye, great focus giving lots of detail, nice natural colours and depth. Great camera and editing work, well done and good luck!

Great looking shot!. Fine example of a modern day's life in a barn! Your timing appears to be perfect and you have captured the comrades very well.
Good luck in the contest!!

Okay, you don't see this every day. What a great shot. They look like they posed for the camera. Smart animals. And smart you for grabbing this shot.
I love how their faces are frame ready, absolutely wonderful.
Great color and tone and even the texture of the hay, this is such a fun shot.
The other comment I have is about the background, I have no idea how you managed to get such a neutral, dark tone that compliments the entire scene. So you must walk around with a camera in your back pockets.
Excellent job.

Interesting and funny scene. The llama seemed alert and aware of your presence. Excellent lighting showing clarity of colors and textures.I like the way, you've captured the overall front view of the goat, but the llama is a bit cut-off. Nice modified background. Overall, this is a good entry and an enjoyable image.

I really like this shot, it tells a great story - I'd love to see what it looks like unaltered. I'm not a fan of the effect you've put in the background. It makes it look like the cow's head is floating in space.

Thank you so very much for the lovely review. The background was rather busy, and it was only a diffused body of the yak you could see.

Very good photo. Really good how you got the yak and goat together. At first I thought you added one in the editing process. Good clarity and composition. Nice work.

Nice to see these two friends. Food shared is a great leveller. The contrasting colours of the two animals together are so interesting and the line of the food bin with the dark background makes for a great composition. A very clear close-up.

I always know your work by your use of light! I love this. It is not easy shooting black but you have done well here getting nice details and eye clarity. I do not think I have ever seen a Yak before. Love the close up of the two eating, lighting, clarity and fine editing skills from your wickedly creative and oh so talented hands.
Well done!
