Another favourite flower of mine. Peonies are just beautiful but they do not last very long unfortunately. I remember a plant growing in my nan's garden which deep red blooms. The lighting in this shot is excellent. I like the composition. Trails are interesting and certainly add to the beauty of the photograph.

Really beautiful. I would have never thought that they would look as beautiful in black and white and you showed me how wrong I was. Really nice spotlight effect and I really love the swirl.

But this is a B&W contest after all.
Your use of light will always be your bread crumb trail for me to find you. The lighting is heavenly, the flowers are delicate and elegant and your magical editing skills just make this oh so loverly.

I fully appreciate that this is a black and white contest so I will not criticise you for the black and white treatment. Although black and whiter can really add a great deal to an image this is definitely one that would have been much better in colour. Nevertheless, nice job and good luck in the competition.
