A beautiful image of the flower and leaves. I am not a fan of contrived backgrounds, but this one is nicely colored and does not compete with the subject. Great colors and outstanding composition. Good luck in the contest.

This is absolutely beautiful and, surely, must be the winning entry for the competition. As always, the flower is wonderfully sharp and perfectly exposed. I love the play of light on the flower. The background is excellent. Indeed your ability to create those amazing backgrounds is what makes this particularly special. I really like the matte vignette which focuses attention just where it needs to be. Simply first class.

Ahhhhh! ONce again FAR is blessed with the lovely artistry of Avmurray. Annie, the way you layed this out is stunning! LOce hoe the Iris falls across the page. I like how some of the stems have an overlay of soft green over them. Thod is what I call elegance My Friend.
