A beautiful photo and perfect for this contest. this is just excellent with the background layers enhancing the orange poppies and buds. Wonderful image created with excellent skill. the image of the poppies is great with a razor sharp focus and excellent exposure. Really nice!

Very lovely. The presentation is artistic and simply superb. Love the POV showing the fine details of the stamens and those buds, simply gave us the hope of more blooms to come. Nice dark contrast background. Extraordinaire.

Fantastic as always - handsome focus and clarity - the way you compose your images always has a special impact , they come out of the deepness in such perfection, radiating like a light themselves -

A very playful composition with these 4 buds around the three blooms - I love the variety of perspective of the blooms in this image one looking like a chalice and two offering their bright site in full splendor

Your frame is well chosen, your composition perfect in use of space and DOF - the background shades are awesome creating the perfect essence in this image ,

I like this arrangement of open blossoms and buds. The darkened background is nice in that it retains a hint of content. The colors are very nice. Good luck in the contest.

These are absolutely beautiful. The initial impact is super. They look so delicate as if made out of paper. Wish I had some in my garden. Love the way that you have arranged them so artistically. Neat little furry buds. Nice detail of the pedals and stamen/pistils. The b/g is perfect for this arrangement. The burst of color and rays go perfect with the poppies. They really pop against the dark b/g. Thanks for sharing.
